QIAF (Qatar International Art Festival) 2021
The year 2021 has added a new milestone to my creative adventures. I was fortunate enough to display my art on an international podium at the prestigious Qatar International Art Festival 2021 (QIAF – 3rd edition) at Katara cultural village, Doha, Qatar. The maiden opportunity to showcase my paintings to a global art community was memorable and profusely rewarding.
It was an enriching experience to be part of the international fest where over 300 artists from 65 different countries showcased their talents and attended a diverse palette of art-related activities.
My artworks Ferocious Beauty (120 cm x 120 cm, 25 hours of work) and The Knocking Silent (100 cm x100 cm - 20 hours of work) received a remarkable global platform, with the latter also finding a buyer.
Traveling all the way from Congo to Qatar with my two paintings was made possible entirely by the generous support of Shiba Khan and Farah Khan from the Funun Art Gallery, UAE. I’m indebted to them for suggesting the art festival and guiding me through the nuances of participation – from the application process to the exhibition and sale of my paintings.
The festival was artistically gratifying in an elaborate way as I also got the opportunity to participate in a live painting symposium. I was part of creating 17 sustainable development goals: Ying Yang doodle with all goals written in patterns over stunningly colourful backgrounds.
Also participated in an artistic fashion show as part of the Fest and was fortunate to be featured in Gulf Today, Katara official IG and Artmosphere - The Art Perspective Magazine.
The mega event was inaugurated by Dr. Khalid Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, Ph.D., (GM, Katara Cultural Village Foundation) and graced by Rashmi Aggarwal (Founder & President of MAPS International WLL).
This has been a new level of experience - yet another juncture that I have reached and passed by in my journey as an artist. And I look forward to more; newer crossroads and varied pathways.

Wow, u r amazing artist keep glowing always 💕
